Doogood Surface Coatings are market leaders in the metal finishing and protective coatings industry, providing services to industries such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Construction, Automotive and Manufacturing.

High quality product and meeting customer expectations is imperative to our business, so as a result of recent growth and to ensure our high standards are maintained we are seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee, uphold and drive these principles within our business.

This is a new and exciting role which requires a strong leader with a focus on productivity, safety and quality. This role will ensure that the operations department efficiently and effectively delivers the production schedule whilst ensuring safety standards and quality compliance are maintained at all times.

**Within this role your key duties will be**:

- Lead, oversee and implement production to ensure that all painting/blasting jobs are prioritised to meet customer expectations
- Manage the production and warehouse teams
- Oversee warehouse function to ensure all material/resources are available to complete each job
- Train staff in Standard Operating Procedures and operations of Doogood equipment
- Coach, monitor and inspire excellent performance of personnel
- Conduct performance appraisals as required
- Provide a safe and healthy work environment and ensure that operations staff comply with safety procedures
- Participate in hazard/incident investigations, corrective actions and risk assessments
- Run toolbox meetings and participate in other meetings as required
- Assist the Operations Manager as required

**Skills, Experience & Licensing Required**
- Experience as a team leader or supervisor in production, warehouse or maintenance environment
- A strong positive leadership style with the desire to achieve results through others
- Self-motivated and able to lead and influence a team
- Well organised and able to prioritise work
- Professional maturity and sound judgement
- Multi-tasking, ability to handle multiple tasks without compromising quality or safety is essential
- Forklift License and Forklift driving experience is required
