Plumbing Mentor
Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with a Plumbing trade background?
In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.
This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full-time Mentor.
Responsibilities
Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
Assist students with practical activities
Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
Ensure all equipment is in good operational condition
Assist Trainer with Student management
Qualifications
Trade qualification in the Plumbing industry
Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Good written and verbal communication
Basic level of computer operating skills

If you have aspirations toward being a Trainer and would enjoy working with Students looking to kickstart their career and assisting them to gain the skills and knowledge required to undertake and complete their Apprenticeship, this is the job for you.
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
To qualify, you will also be required to complete a "working with children" Blue Card and National Police Background check and references.
