ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and experienced contract supervision for a new utilities client based in the Brisbane area. This is a metering contract where our plumbers and meter technicians will service and install meters across a diverse customer base. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will manage resource allocation, quality control, contract optimisation and team performance. This is a field-based role with the head office in South Brisbane, supporting our client and field staff to ensure ongoing excellence in customer services and efficiencies.

You will juggle your time between being out on site with the team and managing day to day operations and the office where you will quote client jobs and report on project status and respond to emails etc.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


• Coach, mentor and develop a small team of plumbers


• Develop scope of works and quote effectively within NPS framework


• Achieve monthly quote approval targets


• Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships


• Align team goals with company objectives


• Oversee complex jobs and provide client updates


• Maintain safe working practices across all sites


• Meet monthly site audit targets

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

Ideally, you have have plumbing supervisory experience (domestic or civil preferred) or been a leading hand in the plumbing industry and looking to take your next step up into a supervisor position.


• 2+ years supervisor/leading hand experience


• Civil plumbing experience (highly regarded)


• Quoting experience (essential)


• Strong people leadership skills


• Current driver's license


• Plumbing registration or license & white card


• Organisation skills and the ability to pivot and prioritise work tasks


• Problem-solving aptitude


• Good interpersonal and communication skills
