Plumbing Mentor

Do you consider yourself a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mentor with a Plumbing trade background? In this role you'll be supported to work alongside a qualified Trade Trainer and assist with the delivery of high-quality training.

This is a role with a direct career path to equip you to become a fully qualified Trainer with the completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment while being paid as a full-time Mentor.

Responsibilities
  • Guide students to achieve training milestones and goals
  • Assist students with practical activities
  • Maintain the training area - clean, tidy and safe
  • Ensure all equipment is in good operational condition
  • Assist Trainer with Student management
Qualifications
  • Trade qualification in the Plumbing industry
  • Ability to engage, inspire and support students throughout their learning
  • Desire to complete the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Basic level of computer operating skills

Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. To qualify, you will also be required to complete a "working with children" Blue Card and National Police Background check and references.
