**Some of the responsibilities will include**: - Lead and project manage the delivery of a future state safety operating model, safety management system, and governance. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of the safety function within the division, including through engagement with health and safety professionals and their line managers, surveillance of operational safety activities, and the development of performance reporting information. Provide a high standard of professional advice, including on relevant legislation and standards, to senior management, managers, and key stakeholders in line with good practice, contemporary and emerging practices, and the best available evidence. Identify, plan, and deliver strategic and tactical initiatives targeting improvements in organisational capability in incident and injury prevention, incident investigations, front-line safety leadership, and effective management of high-risk activities. Proactively manage and supervise your staff in all aspects of people performance, including recruitment and selection, coaching and development, workplace health and safety and role modelling ethical behaviour, and decision making.
