The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Driver Mentor to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you will support, coach, and guide our drivers to maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and efficiency.
You will play a key part in driver development, helping both new and experienced team members to improve their skills and confidence on the road.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor and support drivers to improve performance and professional development
Help with training sessions and refreshers on driving standards
Monitor driver performance and provide constructive feedback
Assist with onboarding and induction of new drivers
Maintain accurate records of mentoring activities
Work with driver team admin to ensure all documents are up to date
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a professional driver (HGV/Trade Plate experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of driving safety, road regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient, approachable, and confident in mentoring others
Highly organised with attention to detail

Pay: £12.25 per hour
