Job Description

A Team Leader is required to lead a team in delivering person-centred support, help clients build confidence and skills, and secure meaningful work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and support a high-performing team under the guidance of the ESA's Service Manager, driving results and fostering growth.
  • Develop your team's understanding of best practice when working with people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
  • Translate program guidelines into high-quality, compliant service delivery that meets quality and performance targets.
  • Guide clients into meaningful work through trust, empathy, and personalised support.
  • Build strong employer partnerships and promote inclusive hiring practices.
  • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and lead by example.
  • Champion organisation values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You

You're a confident leader with a passion for mentoring others and driving performance, with a strong understanding of employment services and program guidelines. You can mentor others to provide high-quality service that meets performance targets, build genuine relationships with your team, clients, and employers, and guide individuals into meaningful work through empathy and tailored support.

Essential Criteria:
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet Key Performance Indicators and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
  • Current Driver's Licence – essential
