**The role**:

- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Assist in the development and review of Business and Operational Plans that link with Departmental and branch outcomes.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform the requirements of the role within a large complex and geographically dispersed ICT environment
- Proven ability for providing expertise and support on use of methods and tools associated with Exchange, Office 365, Outlook, Teams and associated messaging technologies including installing or removing hardware and/or software, and associated connections, using supplied installation instructions and tools and conducting tests as required (SFIA Code: METL 4)
- Proven ability to carry out agreed operational procedures and tasks and contribute to the implementation of maintenance and installation work including the ability to recognise and identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution including using system management software (SFIA Code: ITOP 3; HSIN 2)
- Demonstrated experience in receiving and handling requests for support following agreed procedures including responding to common requests for support by providing information to enable problem resolution and promptly allocates unresolved calls as appropriate (SFIA Code: USUP 2)
- Proven high level written, interpersonal and negotiation skills including the ability to work as part of a high-performing team.
