**Your new role**:
Diverse & Rewarding leadership role responsible for the delivery of effective management, crisis response and client-focused supports for people who are rough sleeping in the Newcastle LGA.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Provide supervision, support and leadership to team of case workers.
- Foster a service characterised by partnerships and collaboration both within the team and with external stakeholder
- Lead staff to provide case management that is client focussed, trauma informed & underpinned by best practice principles
- Actively lead a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to case work within your teams, utilising internal & external resources
- Provide case management that is 'person' focused, socially inclusive, non-judgemental.
- Provide a multidisciplinary and integrated approach to conducting joint case planning
- Work within, budget parameters & prepare reports and documentation as requested
- Utilise data and service knowledge to guide service delivery and meet contracted deliverables

**You will need**:

- Relevant qualification/s in Social Work/Social Science/Community Welfare or equivalent work experience in the homeless sector.
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Knowledge of case management principles especially trauma informed care practices
- Proven administrative and financial management skills
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of community resources including drug&alcohol rehabilitation, mental health,income support, training&accommodation
- Ability to use sound judgment and act appropriately in crisis and emergency situations.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft software including Word and Excel
- NSW driver licence and ability to travel.
