Formally established in 1930, we are the governing body for surf lifesaving in Queensland, comprising of 57 affiliated surf lifesaving clubs in six regional branches. **About the Role**:
**We are seeking a full-time motivated Education Development Coordinator, who will provide frontline support to actively build the capabilities and sustainability of SLSQ clubs and members in the area of member education and development. This role supports the delivery of relevant and compliant nationally accredited training and surf awards. Based out of the Sunshine Coast, this position supports the clubs within the Sunshine Coast branches between Rainbow Beach to Redcliffe with an office based in Mooloolaba.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Assist with the coordination, delivery and development of Member Education within the region, including nationally recognised training for volunteer Surf Life Savers.**:
- **Provide accurate administrative support for course delivery of training and development programs.**:
- **Support clubs to undertake training needs analysis & to deliver comprehensive training plans within set deadlines.**:
- **Support clubs to recruit and develop trainers and assessors in accordance with set targets.**:
- **Conduct training and education equipment audits as required.**:
- **Support the delivery of awards to ensure consistency of standards are met in line with organisational and RTO requirements.**:
- **Manage and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the region.**:
- **Submit accurate and timely reports to relevant club, branch/ regional and state meetings.**:
- **Assist clubs with maintaining Safeguarding Children & Young People compliance in line with Membership Protection Policies.**
**About You**:
- **Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience writing evaluation reports (Essential)**:
- **Outstanding organisational and time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines (Essential)**:
- **Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills (Essential)**:
- **High level computer skills (Essential)**
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- **Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain) (Essential)**:
- **In depth knowledge of Surf Lifesaving Education programs (Essential)**:
- **SLSA Bronze Medallion/ Certificate II in Public Safety (Aquatic Rescue) (Desirable)**:
- **Certificate IV TAE 40110 or TAE40116 or Higher (hold / ability to work towards) (Desirable)**
