Water Solutions Engineer
A water solutions engineer is a professional who designs, develops and implements innovative solutions to address water-related challenges. In this role, you will work on high-profile projects across ANZ, focusing on innovation and emerging technologies.
Develop comprehensive plans for water infrastructure, including irrigation systems optimisation, raw water assets management and urban flood protection solutions.
Collaborate with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions, leveraging your expertise in structural analysis, design and construction support services.
As a key member of our industry-leading Dams team, you will contribute to feasibility studies, asset management and mentor the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
Conceptualise and detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
Conduct inspections, investigations and condition assessments of existing dams.
Support construction activities, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
Prepare tenders and proposals, providing mentoring and guidance to junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
Positive attitude, ability to see challenges as opportunities to innovate, collaborate and grow.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and local industry professionals.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline (essential).
