Principal Dam Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to contribute to the delivery of complex and high-impact projects across Australia.
As part of our industry leading Dams team, you'll work on feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.
You will be based in one of our offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne, depending on your preference.
Main Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
- Develop conceptual to detailed designs of dams and structural components of dams.
- Conduct inspections, investigations and condition assessments of existing dams.
- Provide construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
- Prepare tenders and proposals and provide mentoring.
- Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, preferably within the dam industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
