As part of our growing finance business at Munro Footwear Group (MFG), we have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our commercial finance team.

This is a pivotal role with a high level of exposure to all areas of our company, where you will have a real impact on commercial decisions and outcomes. Working in a fast-moving retail environment, you will be working with large volumes of data from Retail, Support Office and our Distribution Centre.

About The Role

• Providing meaningful, actionable analysis and insights to the organisation and its stakeholders, to drive commercial decision-making
• Assist in the preparation of robust budgets and forecasts, and associated plans of action
• Deliver reporting that drives performance focus and accountability
• Multi-divisional touchpoints across our business.
• Drive commercial decisions and budget
• Build productive stakeholder relationships
  
  

About You

• 3-5 years in an accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance role
• Bachelor of Commerce/Accounting
• CA/CPA qualified - Part Qualified accepted
• Experience in a complex, fast-paced business environment - Retail/FMCG industry experience preferred
• Advanced Excel capability, including complex modelling, reporting, and preferably query building
• Proven experience as an effective business partner
• Prior experience with PowerBI and visual dashboards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Proven experience in using large and complex data sets to transform them into relevant, insightful, and accessible insights
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively with and influence diverse groups of people
