Business performance role supporting our Australia and New Zealand businessMember of ANZ Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teamMelbourne, Victoria (Workplace Flexibility)Support our management team to achieve and maximise performance through analysis and insight generation.About the roleTetra Tech is a premier worldwide consulting and engineering firm that leads with science to create positive, impactful change as we address the world's most complex problems.As a Commercial Analyst at Tetra Tech, you will provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and operational efficiency.This role will work closely with the FP&A team, the local region management team, and broader operational teams, making a difference to the business by monitoring and managing the financial performance of the region.You'll be responsible for:Providing financial and commercial support by partnering with key stakeholdersPreparing and delivering weekly and monthly forecasting, analysis, reporting and commentaryTracking of KPI's and producing management reports to identify risks and opportunitiesCoordination of the annual budgeting process including regional presentation packsProviding commercial support for business cases, tenders, and projectsSupporting project managers and administrators with training, understanding 'the numbers' and driving best practicesAbout youWe are looking for a highly motivated early-career individual who is passionate about making a difference and working with qualified professionals in the technical consulting industry.This role is perfect for a commercially astute professional who is looking to develop their career within a professional services environment.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in finance or economics1 to 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, or a related fieldExcellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to coherently explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholdersStrong analytical skills with the ability to gather, interpret, and analyse complex data from multiple sourcesHigh attention to detail with well-established numeracy and financial modelling skillsA practical understanding of project management techniquesTechnological savviness, with the ability to navigate new digital softwarePlease note: You must hold Australian work rights to apply for this positionYou'll enjoy these benefits:We support you to makespace for the other parts of your life - flexible and hybrid work, study breaks and leave purchase plans enabling you to have up to 8 weeks of annual leave per year
