
Manager - Sexual Violence Review Board

**The Manager, Sexual Violence Review Board, plays a pivotal role in supporting the work of the Board, alongside the Principal Research and Policy Officer. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead critical research and policy initiatives aimed at improving responses to sexual offences in Queensland.
In this role, you will:
- direct the work of the Board's Principal Research and Policy Officer;
- conduct in-depth research and analysis into systemic trends and patterns in the reporting, investigation, and prosecution of sexual offences, both in Queensland and other jurisdictions;
- provide evidence-based analysis and develop potential recommendations for systemic improvements; and
- collaborate closely with Board members and oversee governance processes, including Board membership, operations, and Secretariat responsibilities.
Working with a small collaborative team, your input will be valued in supporting the Board's functions to:
- review government policy, practices, procedures and systems to identify systemic issues;
- review and analyse data and information held by government entities and nongovernment entities;
- make recommendations to the Minister, government entities and non-government entities about improvements to government policy, practices, procedures and systems as a result of a review carried out by the Board; and
- monitor the implementation of recommendations.
