About the role

As our Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivery of outbound logistics operations for VIC, WA, SA, TAS to meet operational strategic objectives. This role is a roving Transport Coordinator covering any leave and absence of members of the team.

Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Based at Bentley site, WA, you will be responsible for providing daily operational control and leadership for Bega Dairy & Drinks Route Transport and critical reporting and monitoring of information to continually improve the Customer Experience.

Our Bentley site is where we manufacture and distribute a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from over 30 farms in the Albany, Harvey and Northcliffe regions of south-western WA. The site currently manufactures in excess of 70 million litres a year including the state's number one flavoured milk product - Masters

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the day-to-day operations to meet operational and service objectives through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool- Liaising with Transport Partners (3PL) to resolve any delivery inquiries or issues- Meet marketplace service objectives in terms of DOT- Support delivery of network efficiencies, partnering with logistics team, network partners & suppliers to drive project objectives- Communicate with internal sales team to ensure issues and inquiries are resolved

About you- Experience in a similar environment in logistics- An in-depth knowledge of local or national Transport Chain of Responsibility legislation is needed- Experience using SAP, TMS systems and Excel will be a great advantage- Exposure to FMCG and Cold Chain environments or experience in Distribution Centres or warehousing is highly desirable- Process improvement and analytical ability
