Job Role: Transport Coordinator

The role of Transport Coordinator is to ensure the efficient movement of goods and resources within the transport network. This involves coordinating with drivers, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reconcile Fatigue Management sheets and driver log sheets
- Cross-reference timesheets with journey and load plans to ensure accurate time captures
- Ensure timesheets are correct and submitted in a timely manner of predetermined deadlines
- Follow up and resolve discrepancies presented in timesheets, fatigue management logs
- Monitor and archive Pre-start, load plans, and fatigue management records
- Coordinate and communicate with Drivers regarding trip plans and relative fatigue management strategies
- General administration duties as required
- Collect digital copies of data (Driving licenses/Work orders etc)
- Ensure continual communication between departments through rapport and relationship building
- Multitask with urgency where required and prioritize items accordingly

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, it is essential that applicants have:

- Previous experience or exposure to the transport industry is advantageous
- Geographical knowledge of Western Australia areas and townships
- Resilient attitude and ability to facilitate and engage in difficult time-sensitive situations and delays while maintaining a level-headed approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated with outstanding attention to detail, high problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Permanent resident or Australian citizen
