With extensive operations in importing, cold storage, and nationwide distribution, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products efficiently and reliably.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to oversee and optimise our supply chain operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies that align with the company's business objectives.Managing inventory control processes to maintain adequate stock levels while minimising holding costs and wastage.Negotiating supply contracts with local and international vendors to ensure cost efficiency, timely delivery, and compliance with quality standards.Monitoring and improving cold storage and warehouse systems to optimise product handling, safety, and traceability.Establishing and maintaining recording systems to track stock movements, inbound shipments, and outbound deliveries.Coordinating with logistics providers, transport companies, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely distribution of goods.Supervising the preparation and documentation of purchase orders, shipping records, and warehouse transactions.Leading and mentoring warehouse and logistics staff, setting performance targets and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.Over 3 years work experience in supply chain, or distribution management.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with knowledge of international trade and logistics.Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain software systems.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team.Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.What We OfferA leadership role in a rapidly growing food import/export company.Competitive salary package with opportunities for career growth.A collaborative working environment in Melbourne's logistics hub.
