The Client

Happy Hygiene is an established Australian supplier of medical consumables and devices, servicing clients across the aged care, medical centre, day hospital, and specialist care markets nationwide. They are looking for a Supply and Distribution Manager to join their team.

The Role

The role for hire is a Supply and Distribution Manager based in Epping, VIC, it is a full-time role with an annual salary between $85,000 to $90,000 depending on experience plus superannuation.

The Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the logistics, order entry, inventory, warehouse and customer service areas including stocktakes
  • Drive efficiencies and improvements across your areas of responsibility
  • Manage relationships internally and externally
  • Ensure Customer Service KPI's are met
  • The role also requires you to be hands on in all your areas of responsibility, when necessary
  • Maintain and update supply and distribution procedures
  • Implementation of supply chain optimisation
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to support favorable delivery terms and service conditions
  • Maintain ordering and tracking process required from Suppliers
  • Conduct Regular Meetings
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting
  • Preparing and maintaining inventory controls in the system to help control the stocks on hand and maintain an accurate asset register.
  • Organise and allocate runs
  • Reviewing logistics providers
  • Oversees warehouse operations and allocates urgent tasks to warehouse staff

The Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor degree qualification in Business and/or Operations, Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 12 months of supply chain and distribution management experience in professional capacity
  • Minimum 12 months experience working with third-party logistics providers 3PL
  • Minimum 12 months experience in demand forecasting, sales and operations planning (S&OP), and inventory optimization
  • Minimum 12 months experience in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation
  • Minimum 12 months experience in using Unleashed Inventory Software and Zoho ERP system
  • Provide operational strategies, information, and reporting for the business and senior management
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • A person with out-of-the-box thinking and a positive attitude towards solving problems
