**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide piano accompaniment for Sunday worship services, including hymns, contemporary worship songs, and special music selections.
- Collaborate with the worship team, choir, and other musicians to prepare and rehearse music for services.
- Attend weekly rehearsals and other special rehearsal sessions as required.
- Play for additional church events such as weddings, funerals, and holiday services (Christmas, Easter, etc.).
- Coordinate with the worship leader to choose music that aligns with the themes of the service and supports the church's mission.
- Accompany congregational singing, choir performances, and soloists as needed.
- Assist in leading worship through instrumental music that enhances the spiritual atmosphere.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and dedication to the role.

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrated proficiency in piano playing, with the ability to sight-read music and play by ear.
- Experience in playing a range of musical styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary worship music.
- Strong understanding of Christian worship and ability to contribute to the spiritual life of the congregation.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with the worship leader, choir, and other musicians.
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of the worship service.
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the beliefs and values of Dominion City Church.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience as a church pianist or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with sound systems and basic audio equipment is a plus.

**Job Types**: Casual, Volunteer

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:
