About the Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced piano teacher to join our team. As a private piano tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piano lessons to young students in their homes or online.

The ideal candidate will have a classically trained background in piano and experience teaching students of various levels. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and motivate students to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver private piano lessons to students in their homes or online
  • Establish safe and supportive learning environments for students
  • Maintain high standards of instruction and feedback to students
  • Record weekly lessons accurately in the online system
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and directors
Requirements
  • Classically trained pianist with AMEB piano certificates (minimum Grade 4)
  • Experience teaching students of various levels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and motivate students
  • Police check and working with children check
