**General Information**
Little Big Piano offers classically trained pianists an opportunity to pursue a casual role of teaching. We personalise our lessons according to each child's ability. Our teaching method focuses on providing children with the highest quality of tuition while making learning simple, fun and an enjoyable process. We prepare all students to perform in AMEB piano exams every year. Our mission is to create our future pianists. Therefore, we are looking for educators who can teach at a high standard and to inspire children to love classical music.

**Essential Requirements**
- Must be a classically trained pianist
- Must have AMEB piano certificates (minimum Grade 4)
- Must have a car license and can drive to student's homes
- Must participate in our training program
- Must be 18+ and living in the Northern Beaches Area
- Must teach weekly lessons following the NSW School Term Dates
- Must have excellent communication and technology skills (eg excel)
- Police check and working with children check

**Non-Essential Requirements**
- Currently studying or have graduated from a university music degree
- Experience in performing (concerts, competitions, or exams)
- Previous work experience at a music school or freelancing teaching
- Experience with AMEB syllabus and enrolment procedures
- Experience in teaching online when required
- Experience in working with children with disabilities
- Influenza (flu) or Covid-19 vaccine

**Tasks and Responsibilities by the Educator**:

- Have a vibrant, fun, and cheerful personality
- Build trust and rapport with children
- Be professional, punctual, and presentable towards children and parent/guardian
- Self-motivated and independent
- Delivering private tuition piano lessons to young students
- Establishing safe and supportive learning environments
- Maintain a high standard of instruction and feedback to students
- Record weekly lessons in the online system accurately
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with parents/guardians and the director
- Teach weekly private face-to-face or online piano lessons
- Prepare students for the AMEB piano exam every year
- Organised by being up to date with the AMEB syllabus and aware of the yearly calendar to prepare and enrol students for exams
