In this role, you'll provide high-quality administrative support, assist with client communications, manage compliance-related tasks, and help maintain accurate client records.
As you grow in the position, you'll gradually take on additional responsibilities and contribute more broadly to the team's success.Assisting with the preparation of outgoing correspondenceOpening and distributing incoming mail and franking outgoing mailScanning, copying and binding of documentsEfficient and professional operation of receptionGreeting clients professionally at reception by welcoming and directing them appropriatelyAnswering, screening and forwarding of incoming phone callsOrders and deliveriesMaintaining office stock levelsMaintaining cleanliness and tidiness around the office (e.g. reception area, kitchen area, stationery areas)Updating client database where requiredAssisting with preparations for office events/meetingsCompilation of activity statements together with letters to clientsAssisting other administrative staff where necessaryThis is just the starting point as we do see the opportunity for this role to develop and expand over time, dependent on your skills, experience and capabilities demonstrated.Desired Skills and ExperienceThe PersonTo be considered for this position, ideally you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:A minimum 1 years' experience in a professional services firm; experience within an accounting firm is highly regarded.Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage high-volume, deadline-driven workloads.High attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, despite changing demands and requirements.A high level of integrity, responsibility and a professional outlookA team focused attitude with a confident and friendly personalityAble to demonstrate positive engagement and interaction with clients/customersProven skills in Microsoft Office and OutlookWhy you'll love being part of the William Buck team:Excellent training, development and resourcesAccess to a range of great benefits including:Breakfast BarFlexible WorkingComplimentary Employee Assistance Program available for you and immediate family membersParental leave that supports you and your family as primary and secondary carersParticipation in William Buck Foundation activitiesIf this sounds like the new opportunity you have been looking for to take your career forward in 2025, please apply now with a cover letter and your resume here .
