**About the Role**
The Brand Identity team sits within Group Brand and works to guide and advise the business on bringing to life the brand strategy and positioning through brand communications and the development and implementation of a consistent, cohesive and distinctive brand identity. The Brand Identity includes look and feel, brand voice and other related identity elements incorporated into the brand toolkits.
The Group Brand team are the custodians of the NAB Group portfolio of brands. The team is responsible for shaping the vision and creating consideration and advocacy for our brands with our customers and our people. They ensure that our brand strategy lands in market for external customers and our people is compelling in order to enhance the performance of our brand.
You will be an expert on all aspects of the brand identity and provide support to Marketing and the broader enterprise to ensure the visual identity is implemented in a way that accurately and consistently supports our brand positioning. You will be the brand lead for key projects as directed by the Manager Brand Identity strategically influencing projects, across various touchpoints, to proactively find ways to improve brand alignment through consultation, including training and the development of tools and templates.
**What you'll be doing**
- You will leverage your graphic design skills, brand identity expertise and agency experience to support the development, maintenance and implementation of brand identity guidelines, governance and user-friendly tools in alignment with brand identity frameworks that sets a clear direction for the visual identity.
- Be well acquainted with the brand guidelines for the brands in our portfolio. You will use your design expertise and agency background to inform feedback, advise and provide solutions to stakeholders and agencies, and maintain our brand governance platforms (fe Brand HUB, Touchpoints) for automation and self-help purposes where applicable.
- Oversee the development and implementation of brand identity guidelines, processes and governance docs, and user-friendly tools in alignment with brand identity framework that sets a clear direction for the visual identity. This includes playing a key role in the ongoing maintenance of Brand Hub to ensure information is up to date and manage other administrative requirements. Your digital design expertise will help you make ongoing improvements to the Brand Hub and digital tools.
- You will guide external agency partners and internal stakeholders to develop and design recommendations, and embed the brand in line with strategic and commercial needs.
- Guide, advise and consult to key users and external agencies on the implementation of the brand identity leveraging your design and communication skills to guide them to achieve a cohesive branded experience.
- Advise on the implementation of the brand.
- Develop, maintain and communicate brand governance principles and documentation.
- Advise on naming architecture of new products and support the trademark process in conjunction with Brand Strategy.
- General administration including budget process, and campaigns processing in NAB Kit.
**What you'll bring**
- 5 + years experience in graphic design or similar design discipline,
- Good communication and written skills
- 5 + years experience working with Design, Advertising and specialist agencies
- Digital tools, design and software automation experience
- Experience with digital branded governance and trafficking platforms, and reporting tools
- Physical environments design experience including signage would be an advantage
- Stakeholder management skills at both mid and senior levels
- Planning and organisational skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Quantitave and qualitative analytical techniques
- Creative and strategic thinker with 'can do' attitude

- Strong creative judgement leveraging existing design and communications expertise

- Demonstrated experience and understanding of visual communications, print and electronic media production processes
- Intermediate Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills
