**YOUR ROLE**

As a Lead Designer, you will work with the Project Engineering Team to deliver a fully integrated 3D federated model, which will include underground civil services, overall site layout, structural, mechanical, and piping design, electrical, instrumentation, and control design with full integration of intelligent P&IDs within the federated model. In this role you will be responsible to:

- Lead the engineering design and federated 3D model development associated with major greenfield capital projects involving a manufacturing/processing facility.
- Lead the design and drafting function associated with this facility across civil, structural, mechanical, and process (plus other) disciplines.
- Working collaboratively across project management and engineering teams to ensure the sign is controlled, managed, and implemented as per the project scope.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Project managing the design and build of the project's federated 3D model. This includes the collation of various Engineering Service Providers' and Design Consultant outputs, weekly coordination of uploads and updates, and the integration and management of the offshore Engineering Service Provider.
- The role requires a confident, detail-driven individual who can actively lead and contribute towards design decision-making processes.
- Manage the 3D scanning and model development during construction.
- Project managing the design and build of the Plant 3D project, resource library, and P&ID symbols. This activity will be completed by an offshore Engineering Service Provider.
- Internal training and upskilling of BRR designers.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Lead Design role in a Heavy Industry / Construction environment.
- Extensive 3D design experience in engineering & design, as well as problem-solving abilities
- Federated model and Plant 3D P&ID development, integration, management & coordination
- Very high attention to detail
- Autodesk Product Suite, including Vault administration and use
- Design/project management experience
- Diploma in engineering
- Cert IV in drafting
- Mechanical trade qualification
