You will provide legal advice, conduct defense work, and appear in court.
You will also mentor junior lawyers and support business development efforts.Key ResponsibilitiesManage commercial litigation in the Supreme, Federal Court, and Court of AppealAdvise and conduct defense workAssist corporate policyholders with insurance claims recoveryGuide policyholders on insurance policies and wordingParticipate in business development, client meetings, pitches, and marketingMentor and develop colleagues through training and supervisionContribute to firm learning resources and precedentsAssist with financial management, estimates, invoices, and fee collectionCandidate ProfileWe value a friendly, respectful culture.
The ideal candidate possesses technical excellence, client service skills, and teamwork ability.
You should have experience in commercial litigation, preferably with insurance litigation or coverage, and be comfortable with technical work outside your specialty.
