**Role Description**

Responsible for the provision of Commercial Services including Export Controls and ITAR assurance services for including Plans, documentation, internal compliance activities to assure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and associated policies & framework requirements and commercial support to Capability Leads and the relevant Director.

Key activities will include:
1. Provide overall commercial support to Capability Leads and Director, which includes support to the Commercial Manager in the development of Survey and Quotes, Contract Change Proposals and Support Procurement Strategies.

2. Assist in the development and implementation of optimal strategies, tools and processes for the ongoing development and administration of Space Contracts and provide recommendations to the Director including maintaining the contract data item register; tracker; contract dashboard and the S&Q register.

3. Review the Technology Control Plan to assure alignment with current policy requirements and update accordingly for delegate review.

4. Audit compliance with Technology Control Plan via registers and advise statistics.

5. Status, including version control, of ITAR and related agreement and/or amendments as required, including engagement with internal and external international stakeholders to assure accuracy of requirements.

7. Assess the complexity and resourcing for ongoing ITAR compliant framework assurance and provide advice to the Project Office and relevant Directors.

8. Liaise and provide guidance on commercial and export control matters in the acquisition of space capabilities where required.

9. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement solutions to encourage improved performance, governance, and assurance.

10. Provide commercial support to other Business Units on an as required basis as directed.

**Key Requirements**
- Demonstrated experience in Commercial/Contract Management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of US Armaments and Export Control policies and procedures
- Experience in drafting Plans, Briefings and Reports
- Ability to Access ITAR material
- Demonstrated experience in Commercial/Contract Management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of US Armaments and Export Control policies and procedures
- Experience in drafting Plans, Briefings and Reports
- Experience in ITAR compliance
- Experience in import/export procurement
- Demonstrated ability to conduct compliance activities and internal audits
