Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Operator / Maintainer is responsible for all
aspects of operating and maintaining gas fields, gas plants and power plants at our Wingfield
Landfill Gas Power Station.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Operate gas fuelled power plant, 1000kW spark ignition engines, and all associated

power generation equipment;
- Operate advanced instrumentation and process control systems;
- Perform regular inspection and maintenance of fixed plant, engines, gas fields and

associated equipment;
- Undertake electrical and mechanical fault-finding, repairs and reporting;
- Monitor the process to ensure optimum output;
- Carry out routine housekeeping duties;
- Utilise the Maintenance Management and Quality Assurance Systems as part of the

daily functions.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Experience in maintaining, fault finding and operating power generation equipment
- Electrical license (essential)
- First Aid certificate desirable
- Current drivers licence is essential
- Experience in the following will also be an advantage: _
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- High voltage electrical
- Gas engine experience
- Call out duties and roster work
