Director Advanced Analytics Job Description
The Director, Advanced Analytics is a pivotal role responsible for spearheading a team of data specialists to drive the production of high-quality intelligence products and outcomes for internal clients and partners.
This position demands close collaboration across the agency, including strategic analysis, operational analysis, collections, and specialist teams, to ensure analytic capabilities are effective and outputs align with the TSOC intelligence mission.
Lead and manage the Intelligence data analytics capability to undertake bespoke analytic projects against diverse datasets.
Develop and procure new technologies, tools, and methods to generate insights, coordinating efforts across business, information technology, and corporate support areas.
Produce tailored advice and insight to enable ACIC teams to deliver successfully against the full range of requirements within the TSOC mission.
Champion enterprise data governance frameworks and policies, embedding accountability for ACIC data, including data stewardship and the enterprise data governance franchise model.
Work closely with the Chief Data and Analytics Officer to develop and enforce best-practice governance policies tailored to the intelligence context, ensuring data is fit-for-purpose, ethically used, and compliant.
Contribute specialist expertise to support risk assessment processes in the operationalisation of the enterprise AI Policy.
