About the Team
People and Business Services is a Group in the Department of Transport and is responsible for providing business enabling people and corporate services functions, that drive a high-performance culture and to support integrated operations.
The Governance and Portfolio Services Division is responsible for delivering high-quality services and advice that supports and empowers the transport portfolio to make good decisions, and to provide confidence that risk management, behaviour, performance, and service delivery is continuously improving.
About the Opportunity
The Records Support Officer will provide expert advice and management on records management standards and policies.
About You
- Operates effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations, innovations and working relationships, sharing professional knowledge and advice.
- Has demonstrated digital literacy/competency with a range of digital tools (such as M365, SharePoint and/or Electronic Document Management Systems including Content Manager, Open Text Content Server or similar).
- Ability to provide records management information, advice, and support, promoting and communicating good records management practice across DTP and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in providing a range of operational services and support for records management, archives, and records processes, in line with required timeframes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable
- Awareness of relevant legislation and Public Record Office Victoria (PROV) standards and guidelines.
- Experience working with records management systems.
- A tertiary qualification in Information Management or experience in a related field.

How to Apply

DTP is requiring all staff to be Vaccinated and to have had Booster Vaccination (Triple vaccinated as a minimum).
Failure to comply with this condition of employment will impact your eligibility for employment in this position with DTP.
