The Opportunity
Ashurst Advance Digital (AAD) is the firm's technology and experience hub.
We develop differentiated services for clients, embedding digital capabilities across the firm through innovative tools, skills, and mindsets.
Our Digital Services team designs and delivers integrated solutions combining legal expertise with cutting-edge legal technology and user-centric design to enhance legal service delivery.
We seek motivated professionals with excellent problem-solving skills, independence, curiosity, and attention to detail to join as Managers in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.
In this role, you will help design new digital services, oversee their development and implementation, and generate new business.
You will collaborate with lawyers, stakeholders, and clients to deliver complex digital solutions.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with legal technology solutions such as automation software, AI, collaboration platforms, and low/no-code tools.
On a typical day, you might:
Use automation, AI, and data analytics to improve service delivery and advice transformation
Create digital solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity
Develop cloud-based workspaces for legal and client teams
Identify opportunities for digital transformation commercialization

About you:
Exhibit the firm's values and promote diversity and inclusion.

Have expertise in developing document automation, databases, AI review, and workflow platforms for legal and business use cases.
Capable of creating proof-of-concepts and training team members.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPlatform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerApps), and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with business analysis or project management methodologies.
Experience with legal technology platforms such as HighQ, Contract Express, Kira, RelativityOne, etc., is desirable.
Build strong client relationships, act as a subject matter expert, and contribute to marketing and business development activities.
