**About us**

The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.

**About the role**

The Regulatory Transaction Services (RTS) provides business and occupational licensing and not-for-profit registration services to Victorians.

Reporting to the RTS Team Leader, Regulatory Officers are responsible for the timely and accurate execution of tasks in line with legislation and operational policies associated with CAV's licensing and registration schemes.

Regulatory Officers also provide information to clients both verbally and in writing and accurately and promptly maintain CAV's record management databases and resources.

There are 4 ongoing positions available.

**Key Accountabilities include**
- Carry out tasks associated with the RTS' regulatory activities ensuring accurate, timely and professional services are provided to regulatory clients, so as to meet or exceed RTS goals and targets.
- Update, maintain and utilise electronic records and databases in accordance with RTS operational policy and departmental records management policies, procedures and business rules.
- In accordance with operational policy and departmental records management policies, procedures and business rules, process incoming mail and matters creation for Consumer Affairs Victoria.

- Organisational Awareness - uses an understanding of guidelines and frameworks to organise work priorities, address issues in a consistent manner and suggest improvements.
