Regulatory Compliance Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and conducting regulatory investigations, inspections, and risk management discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and search warrants of premises to monitor compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Document and record all compliance activity in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and briefs of evidence for disciplinary action and enforcement outcomes.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting complex investigations and preparing detailed briefs of evidence.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a regulatory or law enforcement environment.
  • Strong understanding of systems and processes used in compliance and enforcement operations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or relevant training/experience in conducting investigations.
  • Tertiary qualification in law, investigations, or other relevant area is highly desirable.
