Myrtle Wine Cafe located at Footscray Community Arts is looking for a gun supervisor to help manage our busy cafe.

The applicant should have relevant experience in managing staff, helping control wage and business costs and shift management. Ideally you have some barista and bar skills but your main passion is working on the floor, managing table plans and small functions. You would be expected to liase with the kitchen on out of stock menu items and specials and pass all feedback to the owner of the business.

The position is a casual one with emphasis on weekend shifts, with a potential for full time going in to Spring/Summer.

Myrtle is an inclusive and ethical work place offering award wages, penalty rates, training and career development. We pride ourselves on supporting local producers and strive to; use products from ethical sources, reduce waste and treat all staff and customers as a VIP. We are licenced and encourage events and large bookings. In Summer we introduce a program of music in the evening but in Winter we are only open during the day.

The clientel is diverse, being attached to an arts center, and the atmosphere is professional but fun and vibrant.
