We currently have an opportunity for a Reconciliations Officer to be responsible for timely & accurate completion of bank reconciliations of relevant Perpetual managed bank accounts.

- Complete item matching and reconciliations with agreed timeframes including timely follow up of exception items.- Prepare associated internal reporting relating to reconciliations function.- High attention in identifying payments not processed by the Cash Management Team and working with internal stakeholders in finding the required resolution.- Respond to client request accurately, and in an appropriate and timely manner.- Maintain an awareness of Perpetual Corporate Trust policies and procedures, business rules, standards and Risk and Control profiles.- Provide assistance to other areas of Perpetual Corporate Trust where necessary.- Work with internal teams to achieve full segregation of the reconciliation function.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:
- Experience within financial services, performing reconciliations or accounting support related roles with exposure to high transaction volumes- Competent Excel user, intermediate at a minimum- Degree qualified in Business or similar, desirable- Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills- Strong self/time management skills- Ability to work with mínimal supervision- Ownership of personal professional development- Strong attention to detail- Ability to quickly acquire and retain knowledge including in use of new systems
