- Mitolo Family Farms are offering an opportunity to grow your career within a food production environment, joining our rapidly growing and dedicated production team in Virginia.
- As Trainee Team Leaders you will be provided with internal and external training opportunities. This training will cover leadership; WHS fundamentals; Quality procedures; Production procedures.
- Reporting to the Shift Production Manager you will enjoy assisting with leading teams and creating a positive work culture, have a passion for food quality and production equipment and be inspired to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Included in your duties as a Trainee Team Leader you will be assisting with**:

- Leading, organizing and co-ordinating the team to ensure customer orders are packed to specification and delivery requirements
- Ensure packing lines are set up and staff allocations are managed effectively to ensure maximum productivity
- Ensure team members comply with quality standards
- Complete documentation for daily production requirements
- Create an effective team of production personnel through supervision, mentoring, and on-the-job training
- Ensure all organisational policies and procedures, and WHS requirements are consistently met
- Monitor production equipment and efficiencies

**The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded**:

- Experience in a production or food processing environment
- Previous people management experience
- Experience with packing lines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to make timely decisions
- Exposure to lean manufacturing practices
