Trainee Educator - Busy Bees at Oxley
Location: Canberra, ACT
Licensed Capacity: 120 places
Hourly Rate: $28.28 (Trainee Level - WT 2.1)

About the Role

As a Trainee Educator, you will:
- Learn on the job while completing your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care- Support qualified educators in daily routines, activities, and learning experiences- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and team members- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment- Gain hands-on experience across various age groups

Essential Qualifications- Willingness to enrol in or currently enrolled in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care through ACCOO (or its equivalent)- Must be eligible to obtain or already possess a valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP)

Essential Skills and Attributes- Demonstrated interest in early childhood education and a commitment to professional learning and development- Basic verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues- Ability to work collaboratively within a team of educators and contribute positively to the service environment- Punctuality and a sense of responsibility, recognizing the importance of consistency for children

Desirable Skills and Knowledge- Any prior experience with children, such as babysitting, coaching, or volunteering- Some awareness of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)- Basic proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication
