**The Opportunity: Full-time Trainee Educator**
We are seeking a passionate and motivated person to join us as a Trainee and learn about the early education and care sector. You'll learn on the job and get paid study time to complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education.
Traineeships are available at no cost to eligible applicants — a fantastic opportunity if you've been thinking about entering the Early Childhood sector.

**Schedule**: Monday - Friday, 5 days per week
**Location**: Chermside
**Hours**: 38 hours per week
**Compensation**: Up to $23 per hour + benefits + super

Your Responsibilities:

- Support the care and education of children through supervision and engagement
- Prioritise children's health and safety
- Participate in joyful, educational activities to inspire a love of learning
- Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators
- Assist with hygiene, cleaning, nappy changing, and tidying

Qualifications:

- Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability
- Current Queensland Blue Card
- Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles and good nutrition for children

Position Requirements:

- No prior qualifications required to be eligible for the Traineeship, but must be committed to studying Certificate III in Early Childhood Education
- Hold a current Blue Card
- Be motivated and enthusiastic
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism
- Be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle to be a role model for children

About Us: Chermside Early Education Centre cares for up to 97 children daily. We offer many programs including bush kindy and music, and incorporate Aboriginal perspectives into daily learning. We have a strong focus on sustainability practices throughout the centre.
