An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this successful, privately owned manufacturing company in this varied and dynamic role. Manufacturing specialised equipment for an international market they are currently streamlining procedures and processes in order to accommodate forecasted growth.

**What will your day look like?**
- Inspect fabricated products and ensure they conform to specified requirements
- Verify weld macros to specification
- Report any workplace hazards, incidents, near misses, and environmental incidents
- Follow operating procedures, OHS policies and procedures, and the HS&E Policy
- Participate in training and development activities related to responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Production Manager, Fabrication Group Leaders, and Quality Engineer-Plant for product validation

**What skills will you bring?**
- Understanding of a Manufacturing Environment
- Good understanding of welding methodology and welding/fabrication experience (MIG)
- Understanding of engineering/manufacturing/welding drawings
- Understanding of welding symbols, terminology, and failure modes
- Experience in weld inspection and macro preparation
- Metrology skills: can measure products using Height Gauge, Verniers, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
