
Quality Inspector

As a **Quality Inspector**, you will report to the CMS Manager and be based in **Tullamarine, Victoria. **You will be responsible for managing the Quality Requirements for the Chemical Management Services operations and ensuring continued compliance with the quality standards for CMS customers. Additionally, updating the quality documents, product inspection against customer requirements, and investigating of complaints are part of the role.
You will also be responsible for the management of source Inspection of stock for Boeing Aerostructures Australia, to assure that all activities in the preparation of documents and material identification have been completed following the specification and with the conditions of the purchase order.
**Responsibilities**
- Reviewing the contracts.
- Inspection of products including labeling, test reports, and certificates.
- Determining the cause and planning of corrective actions.
- Resolution of supplier non-conformances.
- Internal auditing.
- Preparation of documentation packages for key customers.
- Participation in external audits.
- Communicating customer requirements to suppliers.
- Writing and updating procedures.
- Assisting with the maintenance of the quality management system.
**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualification in science or engineering.
- QMS training in AS9100 and internal auditing.
- Experience in the aerospace industry and with material testing and specifications.
