As a Design & Planning Specialist at Nokia, you will be integral to the Customer Engineering team, focusing on the design and optimization of advanced IP technology networks.
Your role is vital in shaping innovative communications solutions for our clients, encompassing critical industries such as Rail, Mining, and Power.
Collaborating with project managers and technical teams, you'll conduct in-depth network analyses, create technical documentation, and engage with customers to influence their strategic networking decisions.

Join us in driving Nokia's mission of delivering cutting-edge telecommunications solutions globally while enhancing customer experiences.Design and analyze advanced network configurations to meet diverse client communication needs and performance standards.Conduct end-to-end network architecture design, including capacity assessments, feasibility studies, and impact analyses.Generate and maintain technical documentation, such as TSD, HLD, and LLD, for operational consistency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and ensure compliance with performance criteria.Engage with customers to provide expert advice on network architecture and strategic decision-making.Lead automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency in network operations.Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives and professional growth.Support project reviews and develop corrective action plans for technical issues arising during project delivery.You have:Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, with 5-8 years of experience in telecom industry focused on IP technologies.In-depth knowledge of Nokia IP Routing portfolio and solutions.
Nokia SRA / SRC track training and experience desirableProven expertise in designing networking solutions for Critical Infrastructure customers.Strong understanding of IP/MPLS Networks, Segment Routing, and Data Center solutionsAbility to generate technical documentation, including TSD, HLD, and LLD.It would be nice if you also had:Experience with Nokia NSP/NFM-P or other vendor NMS solutions.Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent.Hands-on experience with automation tools and programming languages such as Python or Perl.Familiarity with E2E Mobile Solutions and Telco Cloud fabrics.Come create the technology that helps the world act togetherNokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed and cloud networks.
