Enough about us, what you'll do as the Head of Corporate Communications:
As the Head of Corporate Communications, you will be responsible for overseeing all corporate communications involving the organisation.
**Functions will also include**:
- Implementing the agreed corporate communications strategy and ensuring it reflects the network's business objectives
- Implementing the agreed crisis communication strategy
- Maintaining regular communication and positive relationships with key business and trade media
- Implementing trade media strategy that supports the business' sales narrative
- Work collaboratively with Head of Publicity and National Trade Marketing Manager
- Identifying key media opportunities across the business
- Building Paramount's profile and reputation via increased presence for key executives in the media
- Identifying issues with potential impact to Paramount's corporate reputation
- Implementing internal communications plan that promotes openness, collaboration, and staff engagement
What are we looking for in a Head of Corporate Communications? What's important?
- Minimum ten years' experience in the corporate comms/public affairs space
- Superior ability to write in a style that is customary for corporate and external publications
- Proven record of building strong and effective relationships within the media environment and with internal stakeholders
- Proven record of crisis communication
- University degree, preferably with major in communications or related disciplines
**Extra points for the following, but not necessarily required**:
- Experience within the media industry
- Good understanding of BVOD (Broadcaster Video on Demand) and SVOD (Subscription Video on Demand)
