We're always looking for better ways to deliver for our customers – and for our people.About the role:The Technical Business Analyst at Origin involves capturing both functional and technical requirements to support Future Energy Programs of work.The position requires liaising with stakeholders, facilitating conversations, and documenting requirements for web applications and functionality.Liaising with different stakeholders, facilitating conversations, gathering, and documenting functional and technical requirements for web applications and functionality required.Support of release management for production changes (e.g., scheduling, communications, implementation, and post verification testing).
Be part of a cross-functional team and collaborate to create and maintain accurate user stories, documentation, and testing activities.Contribute to the maintenance and improve the quality and performance of applications in our production environment.
This may include providing feedback to ensure we have the right tools and processes in place to identify defects and bottlenecks early and educating our cross-functional team to ensure best practices are followed and pre-deployment requirements are clear.Change management lifecycle from planning through to implementation, including collaboration across functional areas of the business.Participate as a workstream lead in major business projects which impact the Jindabyne platform.What will you bring?
Tertiary qualification in an IT-related discipline.Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and applications with a focus on data, database, storage, and application integration components.Hands-on experience with any of the following: Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Python, ReactJS, Tableau.Proven experience in a business-critical data and analytics environment with a background in data and web development and applications.Excellent written and verbal communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information to a broad audience and explain technical concepts in simple terms to business stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiar with ITIL concepts and experience with ITSM tools.Enjoys and seeks continuous learning and keeps up to date with industry developments and best practices.So, why join us?
