We are looking for an experienced **HR Manager**to join our Australian retail team. At True Society, we're all about building strong teams and meaningful experiences—and we need you to help us make it happen
As the HR Manager, you'll be the backbone of our retail HR operations for Australia, handling everything from talent scouting to recruitment to payroll and everything in between. You'll work closely with retail leaders and store employees, creating a dynamic, supportive workplace while ensuring compliance and effective people operations. It's a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and you'll be key in shaping our company's culture and retail sales success in Australia.

**Responsibilities**:
**What You'll Be Doing**:
**Partnering with Retail Leaders for Growth**
Collaborate with the Regional Store Manager and Store Managers to assess, develop, and execute talent and organizational strategies. You'll help us build a team of all-stars to drive the profitability of our stores
**Master of Recruitment**
From writing job postings to creating dynamic recruitment strategies, you'll oversee the entire retail hiring process—finding the best talent and making True Society THE place to work.
**Onboarding Oversight**
Guide new hires through an amazing onboarding experience. From admin to introductions, you'll make sure every new team member feels welcomed and set up for success as they embark on their in-store training.
**HR Expert**
Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on all things people-related— hiring, performance, employee relations and team morale. You'll be the go-to person for helping managers address HR and people challenges.
**Payroll Administration**
You'll handle the intricacies of Australian timekeeping and payroll, working with our US based payroll team and third-party systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
**Champion of Employee Relations**
Help foster a positive work culture by coaching our management team on HR matters, advising on performance management, addressing employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with all local employment laws and occupational health and safety regulations.

**Does This Sound Like You?**
Qualifications:
**What We Are Looking For**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business (with HR Major) required.
- AHRI or CIPD Certification preferred; ongoing continued professional development to stay current with HR employment regulations and best practices expected.
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience required, preferably in a retail or other fast-paced dynamic sales-oriented organization.
- Working knowledge of HR principles, policies, and practices, within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and payroll administration.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Australian legislation governing employment conditions, including modern awards, ideally experience working with the General Retail Industry Award.
- Customer service driven with professional presence and demeanor. Ability to interface effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to consult on talent planning and organizational design strategies.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with HRIS systems.
