Ecommerce Coordinator

Overview
eCommerce Coordinator role at The Athlete's Foot, part of Accent Group Limited. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all products are available on our website on time, with high-quality visuals, videos, attributes, tags, product descriptions, pricing, in the correct category; and to meet internal guidelines for AU & NZ. The role also supports the eCommerce team to deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior eCommerce experience.
Responsibilities
Product Management: Manage the end to end enrichment process for ecommerce including all data points and photography.
Ensure product enrichment is managed efficiently, with strong attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Generate/create product descriptions using product data and the appropriate tone of voice for the brand.
Manage product samples for photography and coordinate with retouchers to ensure photos are returned promptly.
Manage ecommerce photography shoots with the internal photography team and approve images for the site.
Liaise with brands and store teams to obtain samples required for photographing.
Ownership of on-site product data, ensuring accuracy to deliver a best in class customer experience and reduce returns.
Ensure a uniform product experience (visuals, angles, background) across categories (shoes, socks, accessories, etc.).
Optimize the user filtering experience by associating relevant attributes to products (e.g., Surface type for Tennis Shoes).
Collaborate with the Ecommerce/SEO team to optimise products for organic search and drive site traffic.
Build strong relationships with brands to ensure timely product information for enrichment.
Onboard new brands as part of onboarding processes.
Pricing Management
Work with product and ecommerce teams to maintain consistent pricing across ERP and ecommerce platforms, including managing markdowns for sale events.
Deliver updates accurately and within deadlines.
Set up and remove onsite promotions; align online promotions with in-store activity when necessary.
Ecommerce
Support ecommerce team with onsite UAT testing and QA checks for new website developments and deployments.
Assist with uploading blog articles and other on-site content and SEO updates.
Assist in updates to store hours across the network on the website and Google.
Customer Experience
Collaborate with various departments to deliver best in class customer experience.
Be the first point of contact for the network and customer service team regarding operational and product concerns.
Assist with special projects that advance customer experience.
Sales Analysis / Reporting
Assist with ad-hoc reporting as needed.
Monitor and analyse relevant website metrics and take appropriate action.
Monitor on-site selling and search tool reporting to optimise product merchandising.
Qualifications
1+ years ecommerce operations coordination in Magento or similar platform (preferable but not essential).
Copywriting capability.
MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced).
Preferably footwear retail or wholesale background or an interest in sport/running.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive.
Able to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Highly self-driven with initiative to support the wider team.
Analytical skills and experience with Google Analytics (preferred but not essential).
Highly organised with great communication skills.
