About the Role
The main purpose of this role is to ensure that all products are available on our website on time, with high-quality visuals, videos, attributes, tags, product descriptions, pricing, in the correct category; and meet internal guidelines for both AU & NZ.
The role also assists the ecommerce team to deliver the digital strategy and provide a superior eCommerce experience.
Your key responsibilities
Product ManagementManage the end to end enrichment process for ecommerce including all data points and photography.
Ensure product enrichment is managed efficiently, with strong attention to detail and in a timely manner.
Generate/create product descriptions by using product data available and using the appropriate tone of voice for the TAF brand.
Management of product samples for photography and the relationship with the retouchers to ensure photos are returned in a timely manner.
Managing ecommerce photography shoots utilising the internal photography team and approving images for the site.
Liaising with brands and store teams to get samples required for photographing.
Ownership of the product data on site, ensuring all data is accurate to deliver a best in class CX and reduce returns.
Ensure the product experience visuals, angles and background are uniform across the website for different categories such as shoes, socks and accessories.
Optimise the user filtering experience by relevant attributes to products, eg surface type for tennis shoes.
Work with the Ecommerce/SEO team to ensure products are optimised for SEO to drive traffic to site from organic search.
Create strong relationships with the brands to ensure product information is provided in a timely manner to facilitate the enrichment process.
Managing the onboarding of any new brands.
Pricing ManagementWork with the product and ecommerce teams to maintain consistent pricing across both the ERP and ecommerce platforms including managing markdowns for any sale events.
Execute pricing activities accurately and within deadlines.
Ensure set up and removal of onsite promotions.
Where necessary ensure online promotions are aligned and launched in line with in store activity.
EcommerceSupporting the Ecommerce team with onsite UAT testing and QA checks for new website developments and deployments.
Support the Ecommerce team with the upload of blog articles to the website and other on-site content and SEO updates.
Assist in managing updates to the store hours across the network on the website and Google.
Customer ExperienceWork with various departments to ensure we are delivering best in class customer experience.
Be the first point of contact for the network and customer service team for operational and product concerns.
Assist with special projects that advance customer experience.
Sales Analysis / ReportAssist with ad-hoc reporting where necessary.
Monitor and analyse relevant website metrics and take appropriate action.
Monitor on-site selling and search tools reporting to optimize product merchandising.
Qualifications
Preferable 1+ years ecommerce operations coordination in Magento or similar ecommerce platform - but not essential
Copy writing capability
MS Excel (Intermediate-Advanced)
Preferably footwear retail or wholesale background or an interest in sport or running
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive
Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
Work independently and as part of a team
Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team
Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (preferred but not essential)
Highly organised with great communication skills
