**Position description**:
We seek enthusiastic Full-time and Part-time Pathology Collectors to join our vibrant Patient Services Team. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:
- Collecting blood and non-blood samples and conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
- Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled and archived.
- Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
- Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory
We are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment therefore experience and qualifications are optional. High level of professional training and Personal Protective Equipment will be provided. - Is open to working full time or part time hours on a scheduled roster Monday to Sunday.
- Is passionate about healthcare and committed to providing excellent care and service to patients and doctors
- A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- High level attention to detail and record keeping skills
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Commitment to annual influenza vaccination.
A National Police Check, Working with Children clearance and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.
Please note, our program requires a non-negotiable minimum 25 hour per week commitment.
