Job Details

This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality pathology services.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples from patients, including conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring.
  • Accurate labelling of samples is crucial in this role.
  • You will also guide patients or caregivers on sampling procedures and prepare specimens for transportation to the laboratory.
Requirements:
  • You must be open to working part-time hours on a scheduled roster Monday to Sunday between 7am to 7pm.
  • Possess a strong passion for healthcare and commit to delivering exceptional care and service to patients and doctors.
  • A hard-working individual with a strong work ethic is required.
  • You will be part of a team that works unsupervised, therefore excellent communication skills are essential.
  • High attention to detail and record keeping skills are necessary.
  • You must have unrestricted working rights in Australia and be committed to annual influenza vaccination.
  • National Police Check, Working with Children clearance, and First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) will be required prior to commencement.

The program requires a minimum 25 hour per week commitment.
