Pathology Collector Opportunity

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our patient services team as a Pathology Collector. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting blood and non-blood samples, conducting basic tests, and guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting blood and non-blood samples and conducting basic tests such as ECG and Holter Monitoring
  • Following strict guidelines and procedures to ensure all samples are accurately labelled and archived
  • Guiding patients or caregivers on sampling procedures
  • Preparing specimens for transportation to the laboratory

Requirements:

  • Passion for healthcare and commitment to providing excellent care and service to patients and doctors
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level attention to detail and record keeping skills
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Commitment to annual influenza vaccination
