**Job Overview:**

This role is focused on supporting the delivery of quality pathology services within a customer-centric environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contribute to the provision of high-quality healthcare solutions to all stakeholders and consumers.
  • Perform venepuncture and other duties associated with specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery for pathology investigations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service skills, including effective communication with patients, carers, and clinical staff.

**Requirements:**

  • Hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collections or possess previous experience in venepuncture, demonstrating the ability to learn all aspects of the clinical environment relevant to the department.
  • Possess an unencumbered Class C Driver's License (valid in NSW) or have the capacity to travel to any site for a shift as required.

**Additional Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with pathology terminology and requirements, along with a willingness to learn a broad scope of collection, data entry, and specimen preparation practices, including paediatric and neonate blood collections.
